About Sally Fenneman
After raising four children , running a nutritional consulting business and getting certified in practical nutrition, I am back in my husbands office working mornings. Being back in touch with people and seeing how much relief they get really makes it a great place to work.
For 12 years now I have actively sat on the Courtenay Recreation Association's Advisory Board. With a background in recreation it allows me to contribute to the community and being a part of the many services that can be offered to the community. Through this I became a part of the Active Comox Valley Board in 2007 which I also chair. This is a nonprofit organization that was designed together with Active BC to get people in the valley up and moving 20% more by 2010. We had such success with our program that we are continuing even though Active BC dissolved the program. Check out our link to www.Activecomoxvalley.ca.
I enjoy a variety of outside activities. Firstly, spending time with our 3 grandchildren whenever possible. We are active campers and North Island explorers. I have competed in two Tri-K's in the swimming leg and continue to enjoy swimming, gardening and walking our yellow lab Poppy ( that in itself is a full-time job),canoeing and reading a good book.
Good health has always been a way of life for our family and it is a privilege to be able to be a part of such an exciting profession.
